Speculoos Paste !
This new stuff is legal in Belgium and many foreign riders cannot live without it. Speculoos is a relatively newly formulated bread spread similar to Nutella called “Speculoos Pasta” – it is made from ground up Speculoos cookies, which are the cookies in Belgium which come with any cup of coffee ordered in a cafe. The cookie spread has become such a hit in Belgium that two companies are in a legal battle to claim control of the patented formula.
I tried some of this stuff earlier earlier this month in a hostel. Then I purchased my own first bottle of the “crunchy” version….on Wednesday finished the it off within two hours. Beats the hell out of organic peanut butter…..and sure makes a loaf of bread disappear. I’ll try to keep my comsumption down to one bottle a day.
